Up North

 

  • The north has the most amazing hiking trails where you can find pools, water springs, beautiful view points.

     

  • The north of Israel is known for its boutique wineries, where you can visit and  taste the Israeli wine.
     

  • Mt. Hermon is a mountain on Israel's North-East border with Syria and Lebanon, it's covered with snow 8 months of the year. 
     

  • In the North there is the largest freshwater lake in Israel(its only 64 sq mi) located 212 km below sea level , it's called The Kinneret(Sea of Galilee).
     

  • Caesarea, a city in northern Israel is an amazing ruin of a Roman city built by Herod in the first century BC includes a theater, aqueducts, Byzantine Mosaic and an ancient harbor, as well as relics from the Crusader period.
